SiteSpect Deployment Options Overview
There are two different types of deployment that implement the SiteSpect technology and enable end-to-end testing of the user experience, be it web or mobile, front-end changes or updates to code or infrastructure, all without the need to deploy tags.
- The first assumes user requests for your website route directly to the SiteSpect Cloud using DNS.
- The second assumes that a CDN is fronting your traffic and that the CDN is then routing requests to the SiteSpect Cloud.
In both cases, the SiteSpect Cloud then proxies a request back to your web server infrastructure, either directly or via another request to your CDN. Your infrastructure then responds back to SiteSpect with content. It is at this point that SiteSpect takes measurements and makes dynamic modifications to the HTML based on rules designed by your SiteSpect developer. This modified HTML is returned to the user, whose browser renders the correct content.
