We want to hear your great idea!

Here at SiteSpect, we take product feedback seriously. We believe that listening to our customers, team members, and prospects is the best way for us to build a better product and ensure your success. We use your feedback to identify the most important features, ideas, pain points, and opportunities so that you can get more value from SiteSpect as efficiently as possible.

Submit your idea in SiteSpect or over the phone

We have added a new Suggest a Feature link to the top nav of SiteSpect. Select the light bulb icon and then select Suggest a Feature to go to SiteSpect's product feedback site.

Once in the feedback site, click Make a Suggestion and fill out the form. We also recommend that you browse product suggestions that others have made and vote for your favorites.

What happens to your product feedback?

All new suggestions are set to Awaiting Feedback so that more people can vote, prioritize, and give us information. This allows us to gauge demand, gather use cases, and automatically establish value.

Every month our Product Team holds a product feedback meeting. We discuss the highest priorities for our customers, team members, and prospects and look at how the suggestions align with our own strategy. Each suggestion requires a different amount of engineering effort to meet. While our product roadmap focuses on larger full feature improvements, we also allocate a percentage of resources for Quick Wins or high value improvements that require smaller effort and benefit the entire SiteSpect user community. We release these on a regular basis.

As the team goes through the feature suggestion list, we update the status of each so that you immediately know the outcome. If we decide to build a feature or make an improvement, we change the status to Planned or Building. We notify anyone who has submitted or voted on a specific suggestion when its status is updated. We will always provide an explanation on the status update.

Our product feedback portal always has the most up-to-date information about our products and what we are building next.

If you reach out directly to our Support or Customer Success teams, they'll be able to check on the progress of a suggestion, but they won't have any additional information or be able to provide an estimate for when your suggestion will be reviewed. They can however, submit new suggestions on your behalf.


How long will it be before the product team reviews my idea?

The product team reviews your suggestions on a monthly basis; we take the top suggestions and update the status where appropriate. Make sure your ideas are clear and concise so others can vote on them and prioritize. Also, be sure to prioritize your own suggestions, too; that way, we will know if a particular suggestion is important to you.

My suggestion hasn't been reviewed yet and I submitted it a LONG time ago. What can I do?

If we haven't reviewed your suggestion yet and it is a high priority for you:

  • Make sure it's at the top of your priority list.
  • Make sure your suggestion is clear. Add some additional information to the comments area such as:
    • Why do you need this feature?
    • What can't you do without this feature?
    • How does the lack of this feature affect your testing?
