Linked Triggers

When you have more than one variation in your campaign, triggers are shared between all variations. This is done to ensure equal distribution and counting across all variations. Editing the triggers in a change on one variation will update the triggers for all variations in the campaign.

When you need your experience to match on a different page in a second variation, you can add a new change, and turn off the first change so it won't apply.

For example:

Campaign: Test free shipping message locations

  • Control: No free shipping message
  • Variation 1: Add free shipping message to Product Detail Pages
    • Change 1: Free shipping on PDP
    • Change 2: Free shipping on Cart page [OFF]
  • Variation 2: Add free shipping message to Cart page
    • Change 1: Free shipping on PDP [OFF]
    • Change 2: Free shipping on Cart page

This configuration ensures that each variation will have an equal composition of users so you can accurately assess performance between groups.
